This easy-to-use ear thermometer features Age Precision® Technology for age-adjustable fever guidance, and color-coded display for an easy interpretation of results. Unlike other ear thermometers, where the cool tip of the thermometer in the ear may result in lower temperatures, this digital thermometer features a pre-warmed tip that ensures accurate temperature readings and is more comfortable. It also features infrared technology that takes a temperature in seconds, and is gentle. The ExactTemp system uses a light and beep to confirm proper positioning, so you can be confident it’s being used correctly.
The Braun ThermoScan® 7+ connect also includes access to the Braun Family Care™ smartphone app for seamless management of your family’s healthcare. Created exclusively for use with Braun’s Bluetooth connected thermometers, the app automatically syncs temperature readings for each user via Bluetooth and provides you with trusted guidance and homecare advice. The app also includes fever tracking and timeline logging, treatment reminders and doctor visit preparation, a cold and flu map and family health journal.

Question: How do I use night mode?
Answer: Press the star and moon icon to turn the light on and off. When the light is on the device will also MUTE.
Question: Can I use my thermometer without the app?
Answer: You can use your thermometer as described in the quick start guide without pairing to the app. Once paired to the application, turn on the thermometer and open the app to sync new temperature readings. When you see new readings in the thermometer center, tap on manage to assign them to profiles or delete.
Question: How do I change the temperature scale from Celsius to Fahrenheit (or vice versa) on my thermometer?
Answer: Press and hold the power AND measurement buttons for 8 seconds, the screen will alternate between showng and F or C, release the power button when you see the desired scale letter on your device
