The Braun Sensian™ 5 Non-Contact Digital Thermometer is great for use on the whole family. You can get fast and precise temperature readings either in touch mode, by placing the thermometer on the forehead, or by holding it in front of the forehead up to 2 inches away in the no-touch mode. Silent mode is great for a sleeping baby. The unique on-screen positioning system confirms proper distance for taking temperature while the gentle guidance light directs you for accurate aiming. It has a large display with color coded fever guidance, and the backlight changes from green to yellow to red depending on the temperature reading.

No Touch Forehead Thermometer Owner’s Manual

Question: How do I clean my thermometer?

Answer: Use an alcohol swab or cotton swab moistened with alcohol (70% Isopropyl) to clean the thermometer casing and the measuring probe. Ensure that no liquid enters the interior of the thermometer. Please wait 10 minutes after cleaning before taking a temperature measurement.

Question: What should I do if my thermometer is displaying an Err message?

Answer: This message displays when measured temperature is lower than 93.9 °F (34.4 °C) or higher than 108 °F (42.2 °C). Please make sure the protective cap is removed from the unit and Re-measure the temperature again. It will also display when the ambient temperature is outside the operating range of 59 °F-104 °F (15°C-40°C). Please allow the thermometer to remain in a room that is within this range for 30 minutes prior to using the unit.
